Adirondack Spruce Top

This 12-fret slothead Koa dreadnought has great projection and balance. Because of its body size it is well-suited for flat picking, because of the string spacing and 12-fret slothead configuration it is great for strumming and fingerpicking. Augmenting the Koa back and sides, the Adirondack spruce top gives the guitar punch and a distinctive tone.

It is trimmed similar to the pre war Style 21, with herringbone rosette, ebony binding, chevron backstrip, and vintage style Grover V97N-18 tuners. While the Koa does not have any noticeable flame, it is a beautiful set. The bracing is pre war style with forward-shifted, scalloped top bracing, and light, traditional back bracing. It has a 25.4" scale; the neck width at the nut is 1 13/16", with 2 5/16" string spacing at the saddle. The fretboard and belly bridge are ebony, and the nut and saddle are bone. The guitar incorporates a low profile, bolt-on neck with an adjustable truss rod.
