Pre War Style 12-fret 00 Guitar. A Honduran rosewood, Adirondack spruce top guitar that is inspired by the pre war Martin 00-21 guitar. The top bracing is forward shifted to 1" behind the 3.75" sound hole. Like the pre war 00-21, it has a 1 7/8" neck width at the nut, 24.9" scale, with ebony fingerboard and pyramid bridge, and a herringbone rosette. Unlike the pre war 00-21, it has an adjustable truss rod; very low profile, bolt-on neck; wood curly koa binding and a wood chevron backstrip. The tuners are Grover StaTite H97-N (14:1 ratio) vintage style open ("butterbean") tuners.

This compact guitar is a lightly built, steel string guitar that can be strung with light strings and played finger style or with a light pick. The Honduran rosewood is quite dense, and the Adirondack spruce is stiff, so it has great volume for a 00, with strong trebles & midranges with surprising bass. This guitar has some fit and finish issues that effect its appearance, but they do not effect its playability, volume, or tone.
